Manager of Residential Services ( Mental Health)

Manager of Residential Services (Mental Health)


West Central Behavioral Health (WCBH) is seeking full-time Manager for our older adult residential facility. The Residential Manager works closely with the Assistant Manager to coordinate all activities and services provided to the residents at the facility – Arbor View.  Arbor View is a 16-bed independent living facility for individuals with mental health needs located in Newport, NH.

The idea candidate will have knowledge in the areas of quality assurance, risk management, and New Hampshire regulatory and licensing requirements for the residential program.


  • Manage all program functions, clinical and administrative, to assure high quality services are provided.
  • Oversee the facility’s budget and manage resources closely.
  • Facilitate prompt and successful entry of new residents into the residential program.
  • Interview, hire, develop and retain high quality staff.

Position Requirements:

All administrators shall have one of the following combinations of education and experience:

  1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and one year of experience working in a health care facility;
  2. A New Hampshire license an RN and at least 6 months of experience working in a health care facility;
  3. An associate’s degree from an accredited institution and at least 2 years of experience working in a health care facility or;
  4. A New Hampshire license as an LPN and at least one years of experience working in a health care facility.
  • Strong clinical, problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Case management experience desired
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record and Microsoft Office
  • Must valid driver’s license, plus reliable and insured vehicle
